We want everyone to feel very, very different, so there's some stuff that the fighters have that only they have. Omar Kendall: No, we keep some stuff for the fighter. IGN: Can all fighter-specific moves be learned by a create-a-fighter character? Or GSP's got a famous style of throwing a superman punch, we thought maybe players will want to do that.īJ Penn has a rear-naked choke like no other. We were like, "I bet you players might like to do that," so we put that in the game. Omar Kendall: Gabriel Gonzaga fought Crocop with a very famous head kick finish. There is nuance for certain fighters who are going to have that kind of a custom move that you can pick in create-a-fighter, and if you want to get that move in career mode you go to their camp and work with them to get it. Like, you have a Lyoto-specific kick, you have a GSP-specific maneuver. Neven Dravinski: Certain guys have unique, special moves. IGN: I noticed going through the create-a-fighter mode for the new game, a lot of the moves you can choose are named after fighters. So we definitely take that sort of stuff into account. Like his arm trap rear naked choke-he has that in the game.
